Sapphire Feathers
These shining feathers come from the top of the wing,
and number only a few per wing. They remind me of diffraction
grading: when turned in the light and sun, they blast a traveling
blue flash along the wing, and sometimes appear almost black from
other angles, all depending on the light. They are used in fly
tying- a flash to attract any wandering fish, and for decoration,
or just to have to look at- truly wonderful! They range in size
from 1.5" to about 3" for these most brilliant sapphires.
Price: Small-.60 each
& Medium- Large- .75 each
+$3.50 postage.
