Here's Looking at you:

This photo of Woodstock, our oldest peacock,

was taken by Bob with our digital camera

in late October.

He was up on our peacock perch, a perch with

two upright poles, about 7' off the ground.

The birds love to sit on it and preen themselves in the sun.

But, the uprights have to be replaced every so often,

because they rot in the ground, and when the

birds fly off the perch, it sort of sways.

This peacock is very friendly, having been incubated in

our bathroom and raised by hand; that's why he let

the photographer get so close!
